This distinguished organization was incorporated in the year 1965 as a statutory body under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Started off with just 65 members, the present membership of the Council stands at 2000 members. Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH)
Established under the EXIM policy of the Government of India, it comes under the Ministry of Textiles, and was established in 1986-87. This Council is professionally managed by professionals with relevant experience and is chaired by the Executive director. The primary function of the Council is to promote handicrafts to the worldwide regions, thus showcasing India strength as a strong base for premium quality and exquisite handicrafts. Incorporated in the year 1983, the Indian Silk Export Promotion Council (ISEPC) is the central agency that promotes the export of natural silk scarves and other silk materials from India. Founded by the Ministry of Commerce in the year 1965, Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) is a non-profit organization which primarily looks after the coordination of every organization engaged in promotion exports of different products. The members of the organization comprise of small, medium and large export units and are endowed with strong recognitions and status including Star Export House, Government-recognised Export House, Star Trading House, Trading House, and Premier Trading House. The head office of FIEO is located in New Delhi, and its branch offices are spread in many cities across India including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Shillong and Kanpur. |

Indian Trade Promotion Council (ITPO)
Synonymous with India's trade promotion on the global platform, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) acts as the catalyst for spreading the prominence of export products to different parts of the world. Earlier known by the names of Trade Fair Authority of India and Trade Development Authority, ITPO, in its nearly 30 years of existence, has played the lead role leveraging India expertise by promoting trade technology prospects in different parts of the world.
By exhibiting trade fairs at national as well international level, organizing Contact Promotion Programs as well as Product promotion Program, ITPO strives to bridge the gap between the manufacturers and buyers, thus promoting a healthy trade prospect between the two on a continual basis. Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC) The Wool & Woolen Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), set up in the year 1964, is the apex body set up by the Ministry of Textiles. The organization is into promoting the export of Indian woolen products like woolen scarves, woolen stoles, woolen knitwear, mufflers, blankets, etc. The Council receives grants-in-aids for organizing various export promotion activities like fairs, exhibitions, buyer-seller meets, seminars and many other programs to promote the woolen products manufactured by Indian manufacturers.
Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL)
It is an autonomous and non-profit organization incepted in the year 1954, and is chiefly engaged in the promotion of cotton fabrics, cotton scarves, cotton stoles, etc. Its success in facilitating the export of cotton textiles has made it a one stop source, especially for the foreign buyers. TEXPROCIL actively takes part in conducting studies for individual products, as well as organizing trade fairs and seminars at national and international level. |

In order to promote the synthetic and rayon textiles, Synthetic and Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC)has been rendering value added promotional services to both Indian and overseas buyers since the last 55 years. Set up by the Govt. of India, the organization has nearly 3000 members belonging to the Indian rayon and textile industry. To both the Indian and overseas buyers, it helps in sourcing their bulk requirements of man-made fibre textiles like rayon scarves and stoles from India by introducing them to the right manufacturer or supplier, circulating their trade inquiries and organizing the buyer-seller meet on a regular basis. |
